3 DAY UTOPIA...

Freedom Day weekend (from Friday, 26 to Sunday, 28 April
2013) is coming up! And what better way to spend it at a music festival? Yes, there is a brand new festival kid on the block: Utopia Music Festival and it will kick off for the first time in history at
Nekkies Resort, a legendary outdoor party venue located just 4km outside
of Worcester.






Imagine three different music stages and one comedy stage to keep you entertained the whole weekend. With hot local acts and icons, like
Fokofpolisiekar, Desmond and the Tutus and Karen Zoid on the line-up, this is sure going to be a few days you do not want to miss!





The Oasis Stage, the elctro platform located along the
banks of the Breede River, will make sure that the music plays through the night. Alternatively the Go “BOS” stage will offer you fresh and up-and-coming talent comfortably situated in the campsite.



Still need some convincing? The festival also offers a comedy stage where comedians are set to pay tribute to the late Rustum August, founder of
the comedic collective Starving Comics. And lastly, the food court will help keep the energies high for a weekend of rocking, dancing and laughter at the beautiful Worcester venue.

Tickets are available via Webtickets.co.za and cost R380p/p for a
full weekend pass, R320p/p for
the two-day pass (Saturday and Sunday) and R70p/p for a Sunday pass.



Directions to the 2013 Utopia Music Festival

• From Cape Town take the N1 highway past Paarl. 


• Go through the Huguenot Tunnel.


• 14km after tunnel turn right towards Rawsonville. 


• After 6 km turn right into Rawsonville. 


• At stop street turn right towards Worcester.


• Follow the road for 12km. 


• Look for the signs.
