This year saw the 5th annual Ultimate X held at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. On the 1st of February some of the best local and international extreme sports athletes came together to compete at what is now South Africa’s biggest extreme sporting
competition with a total prize money of R120,000, across all the different
disciplines.
Ultimate X is growing immensely every year and the organisers topped last year's event with an even better park and venue lay-out. All Cape Town's extreme sports lovers came to support the athletes on the day. The venue was packed with old and young taking in the spectacular shows from the participants.
Well done to Markus Museler and his team for creating the best set-up at Ultimate X yet. This year, the park was of international standard and spectators could enjoy a 360 degree view of the park and what it had to offer. We look forward to an even bigger 2015!
