Love & Light Day Party returns on 21 December 2013, bringing you the best in progressive psy-trance. Renowned international acts Liquid Soul, NOK and Yotopia will play alongside a selection of South Africa’s very own underground artists.




The anticipated day party will take place at the breath taking Mountain
Shadows venue in Paarl which offers beautiful mountain views as well as a
crystal clear dam for swimming. A fully licensed bar featuring Gust
Pay’s cash-less bar system will be available as well as a selection of
food stalls. There will be a stylish hippie market where you can indulge
in some retail therapy to add to your festival flair.




Festivities begin at 10 AM on Saturday morning and continue until 11:45 PM,
giving you an extra two hours to enjoy this electronic music experience
in paradise. A bus service will be offered to avoid drinking and
driving. For those of you who would like to turn this into a weekend
getaway, there are several B&B options in and around Paarl.




Liquid Soul

After many years of producing in the studio and performing at big raves
and festivals alongside artists like Tiesto and Armin van Buuren, Nicola
Capobianco decided to start a new project and Liquid Soul was born.
Being behind the best-selling albums on Iboga Records as Liquid Soul
(with Synthetic Vibes, Love in Stereo and Cocktail), having over 100
releases on top labels and playing worldwide over a decade has made him
one of the absolute top names in his genre! Liquid Soul is constantly
sought after all around the globe. The success won him the Beatport
award for the best psy-trance track in 2009. In 2010 he won one of the
best Beatport artists, best Beatport track and the Dj Awards in Ibiza in
psy-trance categories.




NOK

After playing live at countless parties and releasing numerous summer
hits, NOK finally released his debut album, New Order. Like a
distillation product of Alex's 12-year studio experience, this work
represents an innovative fusion of his different styles and musical
skills. New Order includes deep, rolling productions and complex melody compositions. Tracks such as Breaking Point or New World Order transform the power and rich atmosphere of harder sounds, into sleek Progressive grooves.




Yotopia

Yotopia is the electronic musical project by Yonatan Rimon & Tomer Dayan from Israel.

They started their professional musical carrier at the year 2002. Their debut album Point Blank
was released at 2005 on Flow Records from Portugal and became a huge
success, supported by top dj's and fans all over the globe and is
considered to be a classic .  They performed around the world, wowing
dance floors on major stages such as Boom festival (Portugal) /
Tshitraka & Indian Spirit festivals (Germany) /Symbiosis Festival
(SF-USA) / Aurora (Greece) / e-concert (Brazil) / Universo Parallelo
(Brazil) / Radiance (Mexico) & many others, playing live
performances and uplifting DJ sets.




At the year 2009, Yotopia released their 2nd album at one of the leading labels of the progressive scene, Iboga rec.

In this album they matured their sound and blurred the lines between techno, progressive and trance. The result was stunning!

Directions from Cape Town: Take Exit 62 off the N1 Highway.(Sonstraal
Road). Turn left off the exit. At the second stop (see BP garage on your
left), turn right here and follow this road (Keerweder Rd) (2Km) (pass
Rosendal on the left and Beaumont Stud (on the right) until you see our
sign on your right. Take the dirt road to the entrance and Mountain
Shadows Guest House.




Directions from Cape Town International Airport: Leave the airport via
the N2 Highway, towards Somerset West (not Cape Town!). Leave the N2 via
the R300 exit to connect with the N1 Highway in the direction of Paarl.
(As if going towards Worcester via the tunnel.) Take Exit 62A off the
N1 Highway. (Sonstraal Road). Left off the exit (notice sign Mountain
Shadows in brown and white). At the second Stop Street, (see BP garage
on left) turn right into Keerweder Rd) and follow this road (2Km) until
you see our sign on your right.(Next door to Beaumont Stud Farm). Take
the short dirt road until you see flags at left side of the Road. This
is the entrance to Mountain Shadows Guest House.




Bus Service



The bus will be departing from the parking lot opposite Giovannis on Somerset Road, Green Point at 9 AM sharp and will be returning to the same place after the party. Return bus tickets are on sale on Webtickets for R100
