La Bodega

Had a lovely dinner with the parents last week. Although we sit through dinner everyday, I've been pretty much busy and never got much chance to really talk to them. Decided to head out to celebrate dad's bday. Being sick of the usual food, we decided to give Bangsar a try as we don't frequent there often. Finally settled for La Bodega :)

Mom's sliced lamb? The pinkish thing at the side is actually mashed potatoes. Looks kinda weird right? Was skeptical to taste it at first, we thought it was some weird food xD

Finally got to try Hoegarden! It's taste pretty good :D

It's a tie now between Heineken & Hoegarden!

The brother did not join us as he was preparing for SPM, so we brought back a club sandwich for him. Took a bite when I got home. It taste real good! Overall the food & atmosphere at La Bodega is great. Will definitely go back there in the near future :)

Enjoyed dinner and catching up with the parents. Happy Birthday again Daddy!

All American Rejects

Here's my overdue post on the All American Rejects concert by Digi Music Live during Halloween!

Got my tickets the first few weeks it was out. crazy right? But I forgot to mention it to my concert kakis until later. How absent minded =\

The journey started at 5pm with me & Rachelle following Jin Joe's car. Went with Chen, Jared, Inessa, Jon...basically their gang of friends :)

But we got separated when the event started. Moved up front to join Lizzie as she was there early.

The event started late, like 7.30pm instead of 6pm?

Really bad time management as we stood there and the songs on the screen were repeating for the 1000000th time which was really annoying. I wished they could play some other music. After performance by Pop Shuvit, Disagree and One Buck Short, we stood there waiting again for AAR to come out and it started drizzling. Jay Dee & Ching were perfoming with KLDC along with Disagree :D

Waited about 2 hours before AAR finally came up on stage to play at 10pm. Honestly, I was damn tired & pissed cuz they were taking so long. People around started booing n shouting. Plus it's stuffy, cramp and some people fainted. Thank god for the drizzle and the air was better. Digi could have moved the concert time to 9pm or something!

Though they rocked the stage and made the wait kinda worthwhile, I still prefer their performance at MTV World Stage. Took a massive amount of pictures.

After some time, people started pushing to the front and some Mat Rempit wannabes keep on pushing as well. Arguments and all happened. According to Rachelle some of them looked high. Scary.

Other than those nuisance, everything was good. People's stuff went missing including Jon's. Headed back to Suku for dinner cum supper. I survived a concert without dinner :P

Browsed through Topshop's website & Christopher Kane collaborated with Topshop for a new collection.

Currently loving this eyelet & mirrors embellished hoodie.

75 Pounds for this hoodie. Probably will arrive in Malaysia few months later =\

The one I dislike. Crocodile printed dress.

Looks frigging ugly & unpleasant to me. blah.
And somehow it gives the illusion that you're pregnant. =\

Prefer his other designs which is the printed chimp jersey top & dresses which isn't under Topshop!

But then again. The monkey/chimp jersey dress costs 1,605 pounds and it was out during summer.

Raya holiday so far

Been pretty much stuck at home doing nothing. There's so many outdated post I've yet to do and post up. Blame it on laziness.

Naz's open house was on Monday. Makan session. Went to Midvalley after that. Watched The Gamer @ GSC The Gardens. tickets cost 20 frigging bucks =.=

Choco Banana Parfait at Sushi Zanmai.

Tues evening was spend at Lakeview club swimming. Melia & Edwin came along.

Head off to Sunway for dinner. Had crepe & Kim Gary.

I hate eyebagsss :(

Living your dreams

We're free to achieve our dreams. But do we go all out using all ways possible to achieve it? Even by means that you have to sacrifice someone or something?

Bounded by the rules of society, sometimes we just walk away from our dreams because it's deemed unworthy, not practical or useless.

Do we get to achieve everything?
