SAUSAGEFEST @ Laundry Bar, The Curve

SAUSAGEFEST was held twice to raise funds for StART Society that reaches out to underprivileged children by helping them to nurture their talents in fine arts and performing arts.

I couldn't attend the one at The Bee due to assignments but I made it for the second one :D
Went off for dinner and came back when the first bank was playing.

Sausages were sold at RM3 per stick for charity & everyone was treated with band performances!

Everyone was pumped up with the band performances and buying sausages to help the kids. They managed to raise RM1.3k :D

Last but not least, the event ended with DJ Jee Hoe and DJ Bui Yen spinning. Love the tracks!

Rock The World 10 - Indie Stage@ Bukit Jalil Stadium Carpark

Besides the Malaysia vs Indonesia football match that happened on 26th Dec, Rock The World 10 was also held at the Bukit Jalil Stadium Carpark! It was my first time at RTW and the organizers, Tune Talk had seperated the stages to Main Stage and Indie Stage.

There were more than 20 bands performing that day!

Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob

Was mostly at the Indie Stage to help out my friends from Once Upon A Time Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob take care of their booth selling T-Shirts and giving away free stickers.

Buy a BOB shirt! :D

Their performance was up at 12.30pm. Too bad that most of the crowd was still stuck outside at the registration counter but nevertheless they put up a great performance :)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, a road block back to Bukit Jalil after lunch and a wrong turn ended me up in a car ride on the way to Putrajaya and a RM5 toll. Malaysian road signs are SO misleading! Took us about an hour to come back :( Missed out on performances from Car Crash Hearts, An Honest Mistake and Prema Yin.

Lab The Rat. First time hearing their songs and I loved it!

Left after Rosevelt's performance to avoid the jam from the football match happening later at night. The traffic is just crazy! And the way people parked their car on the side of the roads...pure madness! Not double parking but triple or quadruple!

It was a fun and tiring day after being there for about 8 hours! Some of them got sunburned. lol.

All American Rejects

Here's my overdue post on the All American Rejects concert by Digi Music Live during Halloween!

Got my tickets the first few weeks it was out. crazy right? But I forgot to mention it to my concert kakis until later. How absent minded =\

The journey started at 5pm with me & Rachelle following Jin Joe's car. Went with Chen, Jared, Inessa, Jon...basically their gang of friends :)

But we got separated when the event started. Moved up front to join Lizzie as she was there early.

The event started late, like 7.30pm instead of 6pm?

Really bad time management as we stood there and the songs on the screen were repeating for the 1000000th time which was really annoying. I wished they could play some other music. After performance by Pop Shuvit, Disagree and One Buck Short, we stood there waiting again for AAR to come out and it started drizzling. Jay Dee & Ching were perfoming with KLDC along with Disagree :D

Waited about 2 hours before AAR finally came up on stage to play at 10pm. Honestly, I was damn tired & pissed cuz they were taking so long. People around started booing n shouting. Plus it's stuffy, cramp and some people fainted. Thank god for the drizzle and the air was better. Digi could have moved the concert time to 9pm or something!

Though they rocked the stage and made the wait kinda worthwhile, I still prefer their performance at MTV World Stage. Took a massive amount of pictures.

After some time, people started pushing to the front and some Mat Rempit wannabes keep on pushing as well. Arguments and all happened. According to Rachelle some of them looked high. Scary.

Other than those nuisance, everything was good. People's stuff went missing including Jon's. Headed back to Suku for dinner cum supper. I survived a concert without dinner :P
