Paradigm In Style Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Week

Paradigm Mall hosted its first ever Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Week which kicked off on the 26th of April. Thanks to Evelyn for the invitation to the Gala Night. The 8-day event featured fashion presentations by the wide variety of fashion and lifestyle brands which are available at Paradigm Mall.

The gala night is graced by top WCT Land VVIPs, guest of note also included Malaysian celebrities Bernie Chan, Belinda Chee, Pamela & Vanessa Chong, Chelsia Ng, Aaron Khaled, Alvin Wong, Hansen Lee and Jeremy Teo.

The event started off with a fashion theme dance that was highly energetic and entertaining.

Hitz.fm DJs, Jin and Natalie as the emcees of the event.

The fashion show begun with a runway show lead by Amber Chia along with models from her academy.

The first segment of the fashion show gala night featured Spring/Summer 2013 collections of Springfield, ELLE, MOG, Kitschen, Skechers, Tooba, Walk In, Adidas and Bossini.

Local songstress, Dayang Nurfaizah performed in between the fashion show and mesmerized the crowd with her soulful voice.

The second segment revealed more Spring/Summer 2013 collection from various brands - Red's Revenge, US Polo, Payless Shoes, Elements, Padini, Squareroom, Brat Pack, Nichii, Sun Paradise and Voir.

Wonderfully coiffed hair styles and creative make-up for the show were sponsored by Celeb Trendz Hair Studio and Sephora.

Cielo Dolci @ Paradigm Mall

Those of you who have been to Paradigm Mall in PJ, you will definitely notice a quaint gelato shop at the Lower Ground Floor called Cielo Dolci.

It's cute decor and dreamy blue setting is definitely eye catching, not to mention welcoming. Gelato is an Italian ice cream and Cielo Dolci brings you 100% homemade desserts! According to their website, the owners fell in love with Italian desserts during their visit to Italy. They went back there just to learn the skill of making these wonderful desserts and bring back the authentic taste of Italian Dolce Freddo (Italian frozen desserts) to Malaysia. Cielo Dolci is of course 100% Malaysian owned :D

I've been to Cielo Dolci twice and I'm really impressed with their gelato. The owner, Ms. Ang is really friendly as well. They are generous in giving testers and always welcome feedbacks from their customers.

It's definitely worth my money getting those yummy desserts. Smooth and heavenly, you can't resist it and always left with wanting more! Maybe next time I shall take away one tub! ;P

I got to try out one of their new flavours last week which was Chocolate + Chili Padi!

It was weird hearing such flavour for the first time, but worth a try. After tasting the sweetness of the chocolate, the spicy tingling sensation slowly creeps up to your taste buds. Surprisingly both flavours blends well. It might not be everyone's favourite, but you can try :D
