New-Old with Woolrich and City of Gentlemen Shirt

Posted by Unknown Thursday, February 13, 2014 0 comments
I love mixing up styles.  Whether it be urban with vintage or hipster with classic--mixing styles gives your old wardrobe a fresh look.

This particular hat exudes vintage but I edged it up with some denim, boots, and a graphic tee.  Hope you guys enjoy the look.

-Thank you-

Fall Greens with 7 For All Mankind, TOMS, and John Varvatos Star USA

Similar to past fall and winter outfits--I like to incorporate colors during the cold season.  The odd thing is it still hasn't cooled down here so the key is combining cool clothes with fall layers.

::Street Style::

My looks generally revolve around the classics, but it is nice to change it up and experiment with other styles.  In my previous posts, the theme was vintage and Southern, so I wanted to completely change it up and go with a modern street style.

San Francisco is my go to city when I need a quick and close getaway.  It is strange that no matter how many times I visit this city, I am still finding something new.  Instead of visiting the typical tourist spots or heading to my normal hang-outs, I jumped on the BART and headed to the Mission district.  Also instead of doing a shoot at one location, I simply took random shots throughout the day in order to capture different aspects of San Francisco and to utilize different types of lighting.

Thank you for reading.

Street Sense

Posted by Unknown Wednesday, November 28, 2012 0 comments
So I just bought these super cute boots when I was over in Texas. They are basically Eastland style winter boots, but with a little street edge to them. Remember that street doesn't mean baggy. Keep everything fitted and streamlined. I’ve been wanting to shoot this great graffiti wall in Sacramento so here’s inspiration all around the new boots. Click on each picture for details and fashion credits.

Show off that you don't follow rules. Tie bar is actually what
retailers use to hold together the folds on button down shirts.

And we get to the inspiration. Solid black work-rain boots, but because it's a dull black,
it lends itself to street rather than dress. Throw the cuffs up to show 'em off.

With street style, it's all about not worrying if something is out of place. If the collar pops, leave it.
If jean cuffs are uneven, who cares?

I needed some type of color, but still keep the street edge. What better way then to accessorize with gold. I absolutely love the vintage gold digital Casio. It's a great contrast between luxury and vintage.
