Thanks to Careen Tan for the invitation to the WeChat Party 2013! As you all know, WeChat is a free mobile app for texting and voice messaging that is quite popular nowadays. It is developed by Tencent International Business.
WeChat have many functions that allows convenient and flexible messaging such as hold-to-talk voice messaging, video-chat, location sharing and many more. One of the things that I like about WeChat is the cute emotions that can be used to brighten up converstation with friends. The hold-to-talk function is definitely very suitable especially when you are driving and unable to reply to a text message :D

Mr. Poshu Yeung, the Vice President of Tencent International Business giving a welcome speech and talking about how WeChat has expanded internationally to appeal to the global market since their rebranding in 2011.
WeChat Malaysia launched their first Malay TVC featuring WeChat brand ambassadors Lisa Surihani & Shaheizy Sam. Each TVC highlighted on the application's unique features and there were three TVC in total. Besides that, WeChat introduced an exclusive promotion with Domino's Pizza where users are able to buy their second pizza at only RM1! I'm definitely looking forward to more collaborations like this :D
There were also performances that night by several artistes. Vivian Chua took the stage first and performed a cover of Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years' along with a few more songs.
Henley Hii and Vivian Chua performed a duet as well.

And lastly, a performance by Awi Rafael.
Guests were not only entertained by performances but with game sessions and lucky draw as well. Many bloggers were there that night too! It was like a huge bloggers gathering. Managed to catch up with bloggers whom I have not seen in a long time, as well as meeting new people.
WeChat is available on iOS, Android, Symbian, Blackberry and Windows Phone that supports up to 17 languages. WeChat is supported on Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G data networks. With WeChat being available on all major mobile platforms, it is time to join in the fun by downloading this app to connect with your friends! Other unique features of WeChat are Shake, Look Around and Drift bottle where you can share information with your friends or search for other WeChat users around you :)
