There is a time during the year, where you feel a little different. You feel a bit lighthearted, more carefree and even a little silly. It is called Summer and yes, it is here! Now, what better way to celebrate it, than to get a beautiful, new summer wardrobe. Traffic Clothing certainly proved that, with their recent Summer Fashion Show!
Last Friday, the 9th of November, Traffic Clothing presented a beautiful
fashion show, at Canal Walk, to introduce their summer range. Guests
had the opportunity to view the range on the catwalk, where models
showed off stunning neon and tropical colours, denim and denim-inspired
outfits, one of my favourite looks of the evening - black and white and
sizzling swimwear. I was amazed at the detail given to each outfit, from
the accessories to the amazing shoes!
Upon arrival at the event, we had a refreshing welcome drink and a
photographer took some photos of all the guests. We made our way to our
seats and were then treated to delicious canapés made by Café Magnifico while enjoying some sexy beats from DJ Kirsti Hugo.
Leigh-Anne Williams, Expresso
presenter and Good Hope FM news reader was the MC for the evening and
did an amazing job of keeping the guests entertained throughout the
show. She looked amazing in her Traffic dress and heels at the start of
the evening as she introduced each look.

Each look and outfit were carefully put together by Traffic Clothing’s own fashion guru, Gareth Botha and assistant Shelby Bosman.
The models looked Summer ready in colourful tops and shorts with unique
accessories to complete each look. The Nautical and Black and White
themes definitely caught DPC's eye and we enjoyed the formal touch of each look.

dress, complimented with a beautiful, blood-red hat was a crowd
favourite and we will certainly see more and more of these dresses at
Cape Town's cocktail parties! Another favourite of the evening was the bright
pink, one-piece swimsuit, which will look amazing this summer on tanned
bodies everywhere! It is certain that there is a Traffic Clothing outfit
for any occasion!
Hip-hop and break-dancers from Unit Bboys entertained us during intervals with their extraordinary moves, complementing Traffic Clothing's "street-style" designs. Models were provided by 20Management and I must admit, that they each had a very unique look, which contributed hugely towards the whole concept of Traffic clothing. They looked run-way ready with Kohl Make-up and Kavanaghs Hairdressing.
Well done Younique Concepts, Traffic Clothing and all the rest - we look forward to wearing Traffic Clothing throughout Summer 2012/13
