 Haute Couture is where a very select group of designers show where they hope fashion is headed. These designers cater mostly for the more wealthy ladies around the world, but is most definitely also a sign of where fashion in general is headed.



It seemed that this year, designers hinted back to older trends and styles that worked years ago: Fur jackets, neatly tucked in blouses with fancy belts around slim waists and a variety of hats. But the designs weren't without modern features - the runway saw styles in abstract patterns, large futuristic collars and different textures used together.



These are some our favourite outfits by Alexandre Vauthier:
















The entire Armani Prive collection was in nude. It created a beautiful, elegant style to the clothes. It definitely also had an older feel to the collection, but nonetheless a gorgeous range!









Jean Paul Gaultier's collection was a bit more extreme and saw a lot of animal inspired prints and textures on the runway. His designs were much bigger and extravagant than some of the other designers. He said in an interview, that Haute Couture are more inspired by film than anything else.









The Elie Saab Collection was both elegant and ever so glamorous. Saab, famous for dressing royalty on the red carpet, brought some shimmering red and silver gowns to the runway.
