"Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town (MBFWCT) is AFI’s
Spring/Summer runway presentation event, offering South Africa’s
designers a platform to present their latest collections. Local
celebrities, national media, buyers and guests who come to show their
support of the designers attend the event.




Many talented and successful designers have showcased on the
platform, including Gavin Rajah, David Tlale, Habits by Jenny le Roux,
Stefania Morland Tart and Klûk CGDT.




In February 2012, African Fashion International announced Mercedes
Benz SA as the title sponsor of AFI’s three Fashion Week platforms.




The inaugural MBFWCT will take place on the 25 – 28 July 2012 at
the home of Cape Town Fashion Week, the Cape Town International
Convention Centre (CTICC). The 2012 event will also mark the 10th year
anniversary of Cape Town Fashion Week"
