This year, Clinique decided to take things differently by having a beach party and a cover girl search. 2 in 1! Sounds fun? Participants stood a chance on being on the cover of CLEO and COSMOPOLITAN and also have fun in the sun! Auditions were held in the morning and the party starts in the afternoon!

Sunblock is definitely a must! Combat from harmful UV rays and avoid getting sunburnt!

Clinique makeover booth. Decided to opt out from this since I was sweating and the hot weather didn't help. But those who did the makeover looked gorgeous!

 The opening performance was by ECX Dance Crew!

JJ & Ean on stage hosting the game session with the public. It was called the Avengers Catwalk. The guys posed like Hulk, Ironman and even Black Widow! keke..it was fun to watch :)

Awesome performances by beatboxer Shawn Lee! Enjoyed the songs performed by Dayang Nurfaizah as well. K Town Clan definitely put on the party mode and hyped up the crowd with their energetic performance of dubstep and LMFAO songs :D

 Getting my hair wrap done and also gotten the airbrush tattoo! I was hoping for the tattoo to be smaller but it was pretty big :O But still nice :)

Around 3pm they announched the winners of the Clinique Summer Girl Search!

 You'll get to see them on the covers of CLEO & COSMOPOLITAN :)

 From going to behind the scenes a few weeks back, I finally got to watch Aladdin the Musical on 2nd December! Brought the parents along :) Thanks again to Avante and Sunway Lagoon for the invites!

 Decided the park at Sunway Hotel but the parking was full and we were stuck in the parking lot for 30 mins. Finally found a parking outdoor even though it was still raining. Luckily we arrived just before the show was about to start!

Aladdin the Musical does not follow the original script from Disney but the West End producers managed to tweak it to be an entertaining show :)

 Different songs were used throughout the show that got the audience entertained

 The flying carpet scence. 'A Whole New World' song is definitely a MUST!

Overall, the show was alright but there can be improvements such as the sound system. There were echoes and sometimes I can't really hear the dialogue clearly. Some scenes seemed quite rush which affects the flow of the story.

I enjoyed the music nonetheless and the genie was funny. It was cute to see the chickens running in the Marketplace scence. Hopefully Sunway Lagoon will be able to produce better shows next time!

Last week, a bunch of bloggers were invited to the exclusive behind the scenes preview of Aladdin the Musical thanks to Avante and Sunway Lagoon. I trust that most of you would know Aladdin as the fairytale story during childhood?

We were ushered into the practice room located in the Amphitheatre itself to get a glimpse of Aladdin the Musical :D

The producers chose a few scenes for us to preview and I was amazed by all the actors and dancers dedication! They all did really well considering the fact that they only practiced for about two weeks. Professionals! ;)

The producers also showed us some of the outfits specially designed for Aladdin the Musical and those special headgears.  I can't wait to see the full performance! It would be amazing :D

After that, they took us to the main stage to take a look at some of the stage decorations and backdrops.
They have special lightings and effects to enhance the stage!

There will be real animals used in the Marketplace scene...haha! You'll see Aladdin trying to escape from the guards with chickens running etc ;D

Before that, I attended Avante's tea party at Avanti Italian Restaurant in Sunway Resort as they were celebrating their 1 year anniversary :)

After tea, we headed off to the Amiphitheather as the musical starts at 7pm.

Had a great time as they sang songs from ABBA, Grease etc :D

On the other hand, the UV lens broke when my bag fell onto the floor. Thought my 50mm lens broke at first. Had a heart attack moment. Sorry for making everyone worry!
